(NYSE:BWXT) is pleased to announce the Syncom Space Services LLC (S3) team, comprised of PAE Applied Technologies LLC and BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc., was selected by NASA for the Synergy Achieving Consolidated Operations & Maintenance (SACOM) contract. If all options are exercised, the maximum potential value for S3 is $1.2 billion.

(CHARLOTTE, N.C. – June 8, 2015) – The Babcock & Wilcox Company (or the “Company”) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its Board of Directors has formally approved the spin-off of the Power Generation business creating a new public company. The Power Generation business will be named Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (“New B&W”), and operate as Babcock & Wilcox. It will be headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.

(B&W PGG), and international wear solutions supplier Magotteaux have formed a strategic alliance to enable B&W PGG to market Magotteaux’s advanced coal pulverizer grinding media and Metal Matrix Composites Vertical Roller Mills (VRM) parts to its U.S. and international customers and to investigate other strategic growth projects
